After Care for Permanent Make-Up Eyebrows

Vitamin E
With summer and hot long days coming up or perhaps in your area, your days are always hot, permanent eyebrows are the way to have a carefree summer and life.

  1. Use Bacitracin ointment 3 times a day for five days.
  2. Wash area on third day with a mild water soluble cleanser, and follow with a rinse of distilled or tap water that has been treated to remove chlorine and other additives that can alter color. Then re-apply Bacitracin, Vaseline, or a Vitamin E stick to protect color and moisturize skin.
  3. Avoid exercise that causes sweating. The salts in sweat can sting and alter color, especially if you get the feathering brow strokes and highlight strokes for dimension. You don’t want migration of color.
  4. Keep bangs away your freshly tattooed brows.
  5. Do not swim underwater, chlorine can discolor the pigment. It can give them a green hue if the skin has not healed properly. If you do water aerobics, keep a thick layer of Vaseline and be mindful. Best no swimming for five days.
  6. Avoid direct contact with sun for two weeks. After that keep area protected using Vaseline or an SPF Vitamin E stick.  I do have these available. They are convenient to carry around, make great lip moisturizers, and fight wrinkles under the eyes. These are $14.00 plus $2.00 shipping.
  7. After a four week period, I recommend a mild oatmeal and honey scrub with the gentlest motion to keep dead skin from forming. You can use this all over the face and include the brow area.   A one oz. sample is available for $5.00, $2.00 shipping. Use a teaspoon or more and mix with warm water for a mild thickened solution, and apply in small rotation for 15 seconds, splash off and add a ph balanced toner and a moisturizer. I can recommend a ph balanced cucumber moisturizer.

Today’s permanent make-up is best done with a light penetration of pigment, and with two visits.   The look should follow the contours of your facial structure unless you have specific goals in mind. The best compliment for permanent eyebrows is the one that says “you look really good”.  It happens to be the cheapest face lift in town.

Hello, I have been looking a place that does permanent eyebrows. I have no eyebrows, I am 60-years-old, my eyebrows just fell out. I am so happy to know that there is a place nearby. I will call soon for a consultation.

I did a lot of research. I’m so glad I found Gloria. I had no definition without makeup. My eyebrows would rub off and eyeliner would be in the creases of my eyes instead of on my lid. Now I don’t have to worry. I now have permanent eyebrows and permanent eyeliner top and bottom. I love it….. Thank-you Gloria

  3. Great information. It seems like there are a lot of details given about the build-up to a permanent eyebrow procedure. Unfortunately, when it comes to the post-procedure details, facts are a little scanty. Hope everyone who got the “cheapest face lift in town” is happy with their purchase!

  4. I didn’t realize that after you have a permanent treatment done on your eyebrows you need to avoid the sun for two weeks. I would imagine that after getting something like this done your skin would be very sensitive to the sun. I can see how making sure you choose someone you trust and who has the tools and knowledge to do a treatment like this can help you get the results you want.
